Affordability, quality and portability come together like never before in the Saffron Pocket Loom. This loom has one main thing that most tiny looms are lacking: A tensioning device. That means you can adjust your tension after you warp and as you weave.
This loom is simple to put together and to warp, comes apart for travel, can be used to make four-selvedge tapestries (with two ends to finish) and is adjustable in height.
Loom Information:
Sett: 8 EPI (double warped at 16 EPI and warped every-other-dent for 4 EPI)
Weaving Width: 5"
Weaving Length: 8"
Weight: 11 oz
This loom was designed primarily for tapestry weaving.
This Loom Comes With: • One top and one bottom beam with metal combs • One threaded rod • Two wing-nuts • One regular nut • One plastic cap • Written instructions
The top and bottom beams are made of Cherry wood with a non-toxic finish. (Pictured. This wood will darken over time.) The threaded rod is made of steel. The combs are made of aluminum. The loom is made entirely in the U.S.A.
What Else You Need to Get Started: Tapestry basics like a good pair of scissors, a measuring tape, a tapestry needle and warp and weft!
