Brioche for Beginners

This class will teach you how to do basic two-color brioche, and will get you started on a simple shawl project. Whether you just need a refresher course or want to tackle a new skill, this class is for you!

Techniques covered:

• two-color brioche knit flat
• reading your brioche stitches
• fixing a dropped stitch in brioche

Materials required:

• pattern (Shadow Weave Shawl)
• 2 colors of high contrast, fingering weight yarn, wound and ready to use (yarn must be purchased at A Good Yarn)
• needles- US size 4, 32 inch circular needles

Optional items:

• Susan Bates fix-it tool
• removable stitch marker or progress keeper
