In Building with Lace , a gorgeous sampler shawl is knit as a wearable showcase of your lace skills. Each section focuses on a technique to broaden you understanding of this genre. The sections include classic favorites, original designs, and even some beading. All of the sections are supported with online video instruction to help you every step of the way. Both written and charted instructions are included with each pattern.

Materials: 1375 yards of a sport weight yarn. The shop sample was knit with Nua. Each hank is 153 yds/50g, 60% merino wool, 20% yak, 20% linen; 24” or 32” needle size US 6 (4mm); Size F crochet hook; 628 #6 beads; several yards of a smooth waste yarn for provisional cast on; removable stitch markers; cable needle for section #4, tapestry needle.
