Description: Learn how to crochet the beautiful shaping of a mitered square into a lovely, drapey scarf.
Materials: Approximately 330 years of worsted weight yarn (variegated is fine for added visual interest), lockable stitch marker (Clover preferred), size k (6.5 mm) hook, pattern “Mitered Squares Scarf” by Annett Petavy, available on Ravelry for $5.50.
Pre-requisites: Adventurous Beginner. Student knows how to chain and single crochet.
Skills taught: Increasing/decreasing rows, crocheting in the back loop.
Pre-work: Wind yarn, if necessary, and have pattern prior to class.
